Magdalena Wiegner aka Magwie is a freelance artist and illustrator based near Berlin, Germany. With a background in stone sculpting, street art, muralism, painting, and digital illustration, they have cultivated a versatile artistic skill set. Their focus lies in uniquely portraying their dreams and emotions.

Dreaming has always been at the heart of Magdalena’s artistic practice. Since childhood, dreams have been a constant source of inspiration, shaping the visual language and atmosphere that characterize their work. Drawing from these inner landscapes, they create poetic worlds that blur the boundaries between dream and reality.

Through this dreamlike aesthetic, Magdalena seeks to touch something deeply human — the emotional and intuitive layers of experience that often remain hidden beneath the surface of everyday life. Their work invites viewers to slow down, reconnect with their inner worlds, and question the values that shape contemporary society. In a culture often defined by separation, competition, and relentless growth, their art offers a space for vulnerability, reflection, and genuine connection. It is an invitation to remember that meaning is not found in constant striving, but in presence, imagination, and our capacity to feel connected to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us.

A central pillar of Magdalena’s practice is the commitment to presence and slowness. They believe that true beauty only reveals itself when we pause — when we allow ourselves to feel deeply, notice the subtle details, and give emotions the time and space to unfold. Their work seeks to make these inner landscapes visible: the fleeting sensations, the quiet intensities, and the delicate fragments of dreams that too often get lost in the noise of the world.
